The Nets debuted their City Edition, Biggie inspired apparel, for the first time tonight. It seemed as if the team was channeling the Brooklyn icon’s energy early, but were unable to hold on as the Clippers ran away with it late in the fourth. Here’s how it all went down.
1st Quarter:
- Crabbe’s form looked good on that opening three
- Make that 2 from 2 for AC
- Nice offensive board and finish from Allen
– Love Crabbe attacking the rim after two made 3s
– Allen cleans up the miss and finishes through the foul #NBA #Nets pic.twitter.com/wOIyV37LZr— Nick Fay (@OTG_NICK) November 17, 2018
- Lovely dish from Crab to Allen, he’s feeling it early
- Russell continues his form from the arc with a contested 3
- Allen has 7 quick points in under 4 minutes
- Neither team can miss right now
- 7 for D’Lo now too
- Dinwiddie’s offensive versatility immediately on show
- Jarrett Allen showing some finesse in the pick and roll
- Spencer with the jam!

2nd Quarter:
- Ed Davis doing what Ed Davis does, dominate the offensive glass
- Russell with 12 points on 5/7 shooting after the long 2
- Rondae creating offense with good hustle and is rewarded in making the tough 2

- There is no better offensive rebounder in this league than Ed Davis
- Nets doing well on the glass so far
Per NetsPR:
The #Nets have 11 offensive rebounds in tonight’s 1st half.
Brooklyn entered the game 4th in the league in offensive rebounds per game (12.1), and 1st in that category in November (13.6).#BKNvsLAC 11-17-18#WeGoHard

3rd Quarter:
- Nets kick off their scoring with a Dudley three
- Transition buckets are the best type offense

Jarrett Allen (17 points, 11 rebounds) has recorded his 5th double-double of the season (15 games played).
Allen registered 4 double-doubles all of last season (72 games played).#BKNvsLAC 11-17-18#WeGoHard
