Brook-Lin fans! He is back! Jeremy Lin is officially not on the injury report for this evening’s game against the Denver Nuggets. We can all finally say Brook-Lin is set to be together finally.

The Brooklyn Nets made two moves at the trade deadline, none of which involved Brook Lopez. Brooklyn traded away swingman Bojan Bogdanovic and Chris McCullough to the Washington Wizards for Andrew Nicholson, Marcus Thornton (waived), and a first-round, lottery protected pick. Brooklyn also gave a conditional second-round pick to the Houston Rockets for K.J. McDaniels.

At the end of the day, we can all say that this is Brook-Lin’s team for the foreseeable future.

Fresh off of the break, the lowly Brooklyn Nets start off on a west coast swing. The first of these games starts against the Denver Nuggets. Brooklyn did beat the Nuggets back in early December 116-111 for one of their nine wins of the season.

Brooklyn can win this game, and needs to win this game. They have lost what seems like 50 in a row and they get their point guard back, a healthy team, and a locked up Brook Lopez. Lin probably will not start, but having him available is much better than not having him at all.

It will be fun to see what this team brings the second half of the year, especially if Lin can remain healthy. That is they key though, staying healthy. Both Lin and Lopez need to do that if Brooklyn wants a solid second half. It all starts here, tonight, in Denver against the Nuggets.
