Nets Video Breakdown: Caris LeVert’s Return 2/8/19

Caris’ return could not have gone any better, barring the team loss. He looked comfortable, he looked confident, he looked like the Caris of old. Here’s a look at the plays from his performance against the Bulls.

Pick pockets Shaquille Harrison
and then runs it up in the open court and makes the quick, right play by dishing it to Carroll for the three pic.twitter.com/eND1l2CIE8

A real highlight play.

Reads the defense again, forcing a second steal and then in the open court pushes it in transition before making the pass to Carroll for the layup. pic.twitter.com/rZ7G9wJRhO

Another steal.

Zach Lowe mentioned he has All-Defensive team potential and he was certainly proving that point last night. pic.twitter.com/wh0Og8cbia

LeVert's first bucket back was a floater from the free throw line, a play he's made countless times before the injury. pic.twitter.com/FATEHAenvk

The Bulls make the sloppy pass and LeVert quickly kicks it to Russell who has an open court where he drives it to the hole pic.twitter.com/fVH7ciZujk

Probably the most rewarding play to watch as a fan.

LeVert drives and draws the contact for the and one play.

The fact he was able to do so without hesitation is such a good sign in his first game back. pic.twitter.com/uBwJTXAEDj

He clearly hasn't lost it, awesome attack on the rim pic.twitter.com/keHjjrBQ1c

The Nets zone defense is going to benefit LeVert's defensive instincts and acumen so much pic.twitter.com/gijO1pAgMK

Sees an open lane and attacks with ferocity, drawing the foul in the process pic.twitter.com/VScvUJHZYJ

Goes at the big man and falls in the process but still makes the bucket.

He had so many of these plays in first game back which bodes so well for him and the team going forward pic.twitter.com/EF4gzhDHXR
