The Brooklyn Nets have sent the Detroit Pistons into a spiraling downfall after the Nets handed the Pistons a loss last week. Since the loss against the Nets, Detroit lost the next four games and are riding a five game losing streak overall coming into this game.

Unlike the stumbling Pistons, the Nets have won three of their last five games. Their last game against the Philadelphia was very winnable but a few costly errors down the stretch ended in a loss.

The Pistons are one of two teams Brooklyn has beaten twice this season, the other being the New York Knicks. Can Detroit become the first team Brooklyn beats three times?

Jeremy Lin arguably had his worst game against Philly including that terrible traveling call with a minute left. Lin looks to bounce back efficiently and forcefully against the Pistons in Detroit to help Brooklyn end their season on a high note.

This may be a 16 win team, but they have fought hard all season despite not having Jeremy Lin in the lineup. With Lin back, they have been that same dangerous and fighting team, but with a leader and a point guard. It is amazing what someone like Lin can do for a team. All of those close losses could have possibly been avoided if Lin had been available all along.

Despite the positivity on the Nets end and the negativity on the Pistons’ end, this will not be an easy game. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Andre Drummond are the real deal and could wreak havoc on the Nets. This should be a good game up in the Motor City.
