Nets Video Breakdown: Joe Harris vs NOP 12/17/19

Joe Harris has been one of Brooklyn’s most consistent performers this season. He stood up again in the team’s win over New Orleans. Here’s a closer look at the performance.

Joe Harris continues to make me (@TheJManJBT) and Nets fans happy with another great performance, this time against NOP:

24 PTS
6 REB
3 AST
1 BLK

Here Harris comes off his man to pressure Holiday on the drive and forces the block.

Spencer is guarded well by Holiday but Harris sees an opening as Ingram loses the assignment. Joe finishes on one of his most comfortable shots on the drive, the reverse layup. pic.twitter.com/CU20YLBEJP

This is an absolute bullet pass from Dinwiddie and Harris makes the most of it by hitting the three. pic.twitter.com/A89O8EGe2s

Despite the close out from Holiday, Harris still shows the confidence and acumen to hit the contested three. Would love to see him take more of these sort of shots. pic.twitter.com/vnBdXyo5VE

This is just an absurd make. Crosses over twice before hitting the perimeter jumper over the big man. pic.twitter.com/YUR1PPcCmb

Allen protects Harris with the screen giving him the extra space to hit the open three. pic.twitter.com/21eU8bdp1X

Joe gets hounded on the drive but penetrates well to draw the second defender and make the right read down low to Allen for the layup. pic.twitter.com/0K3tMHtmxk

Temple gets ahead of his defender on the cut and Harris feeds him in stride for the layup. pic.twitter.com/Vel4oT1tB4

Clutch. It’s invaluable to have a guy in the dying minutes of a game be able to create his own shot. Gives the jumper a little extra arc to get it over his opponent. pic.twitter.com/5wdQ0ix9R7

Hayes makes the wrong call to leave Allen and Harris punishes him by making the precise pass to the big man for the dunk. pic.twitter.com/ewA4A6wwfe

He almost loses control of the ball initially but regains his composure to finish strong on the layup. If you watch Joe Harris regularly you know how subtly strong he is. pic.twitter.com/7wqdqfRzHo

Harris initially screens for Dinwiddie before the point guard returns the favour and gives him an extra inch of space, which is all he needs as be beelines for the corner. pic.twitter.com/0PdhNitnLI
